Virnig | 6-way Dozer Blade for Skid Steer
The Virnig 6-Way Dozer Blade is a rugged, six-direction attachment for skid steer loaders, designed for professionals who need precise grading, leveling, and earthmoving performance on tough job sites.
- Six-way blade positioning: Adjust the blade from within the cab—±30° left or right and ±10° tilt—for precise grading and smooth contouring.
- Durable construction: Heavy-duty frame with a 3/8" thick moldboard, NitroSteel® cylinder rods, and Teflon® coated bushings at every pivot for long-lasting performance in harsh conditions.
- Reversible cutting edge: 5/8" x 8" bolt-on wear edge that can be flipped to extend service life and maintain cutting efficiency.
- Adjustable skid shoes: Ground-contact height is customizable to adapt to different terrains and achieve consistent results across sites.
- Advanced hydraulic system: Two-cylinder hydraulic angle and one-cylinder hydraulic tilt operate with a simple valve setup (one electric valve and one loader valve) for reliable, responsive control.
- Premium wear components: 2 1/8" hinge and oscillation pins with replaceable Teflon®-coated bushings provide lubrication at all pivot locations, reducing wear and maintenance needs.
- Teeth and reinforcement: Three flush-mount Series 23 cast teeth welded to a 3/4" x 6" wear edge, plus large gusset plates to reinforce the sides for prying under stumps and rocks.
- Notes on use and compatibility: Includes universal skid steer mounting hoses, couplers, and fittings. Not designed for snow plowing (no trip edge or floating frame link). Performs best on tracked skid steers for flotation and a level work area, though compatible with wheeled units.
- Power and control options: Optional 12V accessory plug or dedicated power source with a magnetic control box for in-cab operation.
With the Virnig 6-Way Dozer Blade, you gain precise, adjustable control for efficient grading and earthmoving. The heavy-duty build and replaceable wear edge minimize downtime, while the tall sides and reinforced construction help you tackle tough sites—like stump-filled ground or rocky soil—without sacrificing stability. Its compatibility with tracked skid steers enhances flotation on soft or uneven surfaces, delivering a cleaner, more level work area in fewer passes. Note: not suitable for snow removal; plan appropriate equipment for winter clearing tasks.
